Embracing festive fun and celebrating our youth is the focus of our annual holiday parties. At this event, gift-giving, games and celebratory moments converge as we honor the achievements of the young adults while spreading holiday joy.
To encourage entrepreneurial thinking, a two-week challenge was introduced to teenagers that would give them $5 to multiply by starting businesses. With rules promoting legality, ethics, and financial accountability, the participants took up the challenge. The highest earner multiplied the $5 into $135.45, but the significance extended beyond monetary rewards. The experience fostered pride in their achievements, highlighting resourcefulness, determination, and teamwork.
The tradition of Friendsgiving took on an elegant twist as the room was transformed into an upscale restaurant setting, complete with fancy place settings and a menu of creatively presented comfort foods. From gourmet marinated chicken skewers to pepperoni crostini, the dishes were given extravagant names while maintaining their familiar flavors.
